Fully Researched: Side Effects, Ingredients, Price, User Feedback and More!

Nikzon is a new product in the form of cream designed for people suffering from Hemorrhoids. It is said to promote temporary relief from Hemorrhoids, it relieves itching, pain, discomfort and inflammation associated with the condition, as well as promotes healing of Hemorrhoids. The product doesn't have an official website, thus, little is known about its manufacturer. On Walgreens I learnt that is distributed by Genomma Lab USA, Inc., Houston, TX, 77027. The packager is Genoma Lab USA Inc. The company doesn't seem to offer any other products.

Ingredients of Nikzon - Does It Really Work? Is It a Scam?

Two active ingredients in the product include Pramoxine Hydrochloride (1%) and Phenylephrine HCl (0.25%). Phenylephrine HCl is a vasoconstrictor. It means that it can deal with anorectal burning, itching, and discomfort, inflamed hemorrhoidal tissues, anorectal disorders, or piles. The main problem with this component is that it brings temporary relief only. It is used for the treatment of burning, itching, swelling, and discomfort which result from hemorrhoids. It works by shrinking swollen hemorrhoidal tissues for a certain period of time.

Do not use Phenylephrine HCl if you are allergic to this ingredient, if you take droxidopa or if you have taken a monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitor (eg, phenelzine) or furazolidone within the last two weeks. Contact your health care provider if you notice any adverse reactions. It should be remembered that some medical conditions may interact with Phenylephrine HCl. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, breast-feeding or planning to become pregnant, if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription drugs or supplements, if you have a history of glaucoma, depression, heart problems, trouble urinating, high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, an enlarged prostate gland, or diabetes; if you have allergies to foods, medicines, or other substances.

Some medicines may interact with Phenylephrine HCl. Tell your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines: furazolidone, droxidopa, or an MAO inhibitor (eg, phenelzine). Using these drugs there if high risk of increased blood pressure and irregular heartbeat. Tricyclic antidepressants may cause a number of side effects. Medicines for high blood pressure (captopril, atenolol, verapamil) may decrease the effectiveness of Phenylephrine HCl.

Inactive ingredients of the product include Aloe Vera Extract (Aloe Barbadensis), Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium, BHA, Cetearyl alcohol, Edetate Disodium, Citric Acid, glycerin, Laureth 23, glyceryl Stearate, MEthylparaben, panthenol, Mineral Oil, Propyl Gallate, propylparaben, propylene glycol, Sodium benzoate, Steareth 20, Steareth 2, stearyl alcohol, Vitamin E, Tocopherol (Natural Vitamin E), Water (Purified), xanthan Gum and White Petrolatum.

Pramoxine Hydrochloride is another active ingredient in the product. It is generally used to relieve itching and pain that results from minor skin irritation such as minor cuts, burns or scrapes, eczema, sunburn, cold sores, insect bites, or rashes from poison ivy, poison oak, or poison sumac. In Nikzon, pramoxine is used to relieve the discomfort and itching from hemorrhoids for some time. In fact, it works as a local anesthetic - by numbing the skin and blocking the feelings of pain and itching.

Pramoxine Hydrochloride is prohibited to usage by children younger than 2 years. Using this medication, read the package instructions and follow all the directions carefully. Let us try to find out whether Nikzon has any side effects or allergic reactions.

Customer Reviews - Does It Have Any Side Effects?

The manufacturer of Nikzon does not mention any possible side effects or adverse reactions which may occur in the course of using this product. However, they do occur. It should be kept in mind that this medication is made for adults only and should be used with caution in the elderly because they may be more sensitive to phenylephrine contained in it. Avoid using the cream in children. The safety for younger ones is not known. The active components in the remedy may cause undesired side effects. Some of them are quite mild, while others may need medical aid.

If you notice any of the following side effects consult your doctor immediately: blurred vision, chest pain or discomfort, dizziness, difficult or labored breathing, fainting, heartbeat issues, headache, nervousness, nausea or vomiting, pain in some parts of the body, pounding in the ears, tightness in the chest, sweating and unusual tiredness. Minor side effects of phenylephrine include itching skin, heartburn, nausea, upper stomach, pain or discomfort in chest, pain in the neck, or throat. Do not overdose the product. The symptoms of overdose include pounding or rapid pulse, feeling of fullness in the head, vomiting, tingling in the arms or legs.

Before using the product, take into account the following warnings. Nikzon is designed for external use only. Consult your doctor before using this ingredient if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, thyroid disease, difficulty urinating due to enlarged prostate gland, diabetes. Inform your doctor if you are taking any prescription drug for high blood pressure or if you are suffering from depression. You are expected to see improvement after a week of using Nikzon. If your symptoms worsen, visit a doctor. Let us have a look at some of the real users reviews.

"Nikzon did absolutely nothing for me! I bought this product about two weeks ago to treat hemorrhoid. I have been had it for a long time. The product did not even numb or shrink my hemorrhoid. It contains only 1% anesthesia. I don't recommend it to anyone."

"Nikzon didn't work neither for me, nor for my husband. I bought this product a little over a month ago and have followed all the directions given on the label but it didn't do anything for me. I am very disappointed!"

"I have used Nikzon every morning for the last four weeks. It seems to bring relief only in the morning. I have to sit all day long, so in the morning I feel no pain, but in a few hours it starts to hurt and burn."

Where To Buy Nikzon?

Nikzon can be purchased from a number of retail stores. The price may differ depending on the store. For example, Walgreens sells Nikzon Hemorrhoidal Anorectal Cream (0.9 oz.) for $7.49. The price of the product on Amazon is $11.95 ($13.28 / ounce) and free shipping. The product is currently unavailable on GNC and Walmart.

My Final Summary

I don't think that Nikzon is the best solution for hemorrhoids because it has a number of disadvantages. It doesn't seem to work for everyone. In most cases, it brings a very temporary relief, then the symptoms come back. This product cannot be used to treat hemorrhoids. If you need real treatment it is better to look for a more effective product with long-lasting results.

Affordable Alternative

Many modern health specialists are sure that the problem can be perfectly solved by another product known as Venapro and I completely agree with them because study many products of the kind. I recommend you reading my Venapro review. You'll be pleasantly surprised.
